BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic sand volleyball team lost its final dual match of the season to Florida State University, 4-1 over the weekend. The Owls completed their dual match season with a 9-6 record, including winning six in a row.

All five matches were decided in straight sets. The match was played on the same beach as the Fiesta on Siesta Key. The Owls nearly forced decisive third sets on courts three and five, but were unsuccessful.

Brittany Pellitteri and Andrea Galinis won their match at no. 4 in straight sets, 21-19 and 21-18.
