BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's tennis hosted Duquesne on Friday defeating the Dukes 5-0. FAU improved to 6-3 on the season, winning their fourth consecutive match. The Owls have only given up two points in their last four matches and only a total of five points in their 6 wins.

FAU senior Catalina Ene defeated Kylie Isaacs 7-5, 6-4 to get her fourth win of the season. Sophomore Lyndsey Boos defeated Spencer Caravaggio 6-1, 6-1 for her third consecutive win, and her fifth on the season. Senior Stephanie Cardullo defeated Maddy Adams 6-4, 6-2 for her second consecutive win. After dropping a tough first set senior Natalia Tomaszewicz fought back to defeat Alexa Miller 6-7 (7-5), 7-6 (7-0), 12-10. Sophomore Bianca Biglione defeated Zuzanna Stelmaszak 6-0, 7-5 for her team leading seventh win. Biglione improved to 7-1 on the season winning her fourth consecutive match.

The win is FAU's second straight shutout and their third on the season. The Owls return to action Sunday March 8, at 1 p.m. against conference USA foe Western Kentucky at home in Boca Raton. All home matches are played at Patch Reef Park in Boca Raton, FL.
