Biglione captured each of her singles matches and has posted a team leading overall dual-match record of 6-1. Biglione has dropped no more than five games in all but one of her wins. The women's tennis team defeated Oakland (6-1), Florida A&M (4-0) and Mercer (4-1). Biglione, playing either No. 5 or 6, defeated her Oakland opponent 6-3, 6-0, her Mercer foe 6-3, 6-3 and FAMU 6-3, 6-3.
Dicks, who saw action at both DH and left field was 8-for-14 for an average of .571. The FAU newcomer belted three doubles and two homeruns on the week while driving in 10 runs. In the final game of a three-game series versus Monmouth, Dicks' belted his two homers and batted in six RBI. He was 2-for-4 versus Florida with a double and two RBI, 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in the first Monmouth game. His bat was a little quieter in the second Monmouth game was a 1-for-2 outing and broke out again with a 3-for-4 performance in the final game, including a double and two homers.
Women's tennis will host Duquesne, Friday, Mar. 6, at 2 p.m. and Western Kentucky, Sunday, Mar. 8 at 1 p.m. All women's tennis home matches are played at Patch Reef Tennis Complex 2000 West Yamato Road in Boca Raton. Baseball will play host to North Florida, Tuesday, Mar. 3 at 6:30 p.m. and North Florida on Wednesday, Mar. 4 at 3:30 p.m. FAU will then host Rutgers in a three-game series scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Mar. 6, at 4 p.m. Saturday, Mar. 7 and noon Sunday, Mar. 8. All baseball games are played at FAU Stadium, on the Boca Raton Campus.
