BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic women's tennis beat LIU Brooklyn on Tuesday, at home at Patch Reef Park, winning 4-2. FAU was able to clinch the match with four singles wins in the three through six positions.
FAU sophomore Bianca Biglione continued her win streak bringing her total to seven wins in a row. Biglione defeated Juweira Hussain 6-0, 6-0. FAU freshman Marisa Ruiz defeated Caroli Koenigsfeldt after Koengsfeldt retied due to injury. FAU senior Natalia Tomaszewicz defeated Isabella Wagener 6-1, 6-2 to win her second consecutive match. FAU freshman Jenifer Leib defeated Nancy Zonneveld 4-6, 6-2, 10-4 for her second win on the season.
FAU returns to action tomorrow March 11, at 2 p.m. against Butler at home at Patch Reef Park.
