Men's Golf Ties for Second in Quad Match

PLANTATION, Fla. -
After 18 holes at Plantation Country Club, Florida Atlantic University men's golf tied for second place in the quad match against Hartford, Stetson, and Bethune-Cookman on Tuesday.
Sophomore Connor O'Rourke was the Owls' top finisher taking third and tying his previous low round of the season after shooting a 71. Senior team captain Morgan Hill and junior Derron Peyton tied for eighth shooting three-over 72.
Freshmen Chris Thomas and Luke Campbell also tied for eighth shooting 75. Freshmen Cody Christensen and Tyler Bricker tied for 17th both with five-over 72. Senior Pablo Gerboles-Parrilla tied for 22nd along with junior Michael Perez after shooting 79s. Hartford won the round with a total of 294, which was six over par. FAU tied with Stetson with a final score of 298.
The Owls will face Villanova in a dual meet on March 2-3 in Lake Worth, Fla.
