The Florida Atlantic University women's golf remained in 14th place after round two of the FGCU Eagle Invitational on Saturday.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being played at the Stoneybrook Golf Club in Ft. Myers, Fla. The course is a par 72 with a total yardage of 6,135.
Sophomore Heather Netti, who tied for 49th after round one, is now tied for 33rd after shooting a 77 in round two. Yumi Fujii also moved up in the standings to tie for 65th after shooting 12-over 72.
Team captain Nicole Marino is in now in 74th place improving from an 89 to an 87 on the second day of play. The senior had a birdie on the par five 18th hole.
Junior Emily Peters came in tied for 79th with 16-over 72, and freshman Macarena Haupt rounded out the group in 84th. The team total is 680 after two rounds, while the tournament leader Elon has a total score of 598.
The final round of the FGCU Eagle Invitational will kick off on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 8 a.m. Live scoring can be viewed on birdiefire.com.
