The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team finished in 14th place with a score of 1050 after three rounds of play at the FGCU Eagle Invitational.
Heather Netti finished tied for 41st after shooting 11-over 72 in round three for a final score of 243. The sophomore tied for 49th after round one and moved up to tie for 33rd after shooting a 77 in round two.
Yumi Fujii was FAU's next finisher coming in 71st. The sophomore shot a 91 in the third round and ended the tournament with a score of 260.
Team captain Nicole Marino tied for 74th after shooting 89, 87, and 89 through 54 holes. Junior Emily Peters came in 83rd with Macarena Haupt right behind in 84th. Peters shot a 103 in the final round, and the freshman Haupt shot a 103.
The tournament was won by Elon who finished with a total score of 901, which was 37 over par.
The team will take part in the Seminole State Spring Break Tournament on March 10-12 in Lake Mary, Fla.
