Upcoming Event: Women's Golf versus Paradise Invitational sponsored by CIEE Golf is Global on February 2, 2026

The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded day one of the FGCU Eagle Invitational in 14th place with Heather Netti coming in as the Owls top finisher tied for 49th.
The three-day, 54-hole tournament is being played at the Stoneybrook Golf Club in Ft. Myers, Fla. The course is a par 72 with a total yardage of 6,135. The 14 teams participating include University of Akron, Arkansas State University, Daytona State College, Drake University, Elon University, Northern Kentucky University, Ohio University, Southern Illinois University, University of Toledo, USC Upstate, Utah Valley University and Xavier University.
Sophomore Netti was FAU's top finisher after 18 holes, coming in tied for 49th after shooting 11-over 72. Netti had one birdie in the first round on the par four 15th hole.
Yumi Fujii is the next in line tied for 66th after shooting 85 in round one. Senior and team captain Nicole Marino is in 75th place after shooting 89 with a birdie on the par four eighth hole.
Freshman Macarena Haupt is tied for 77th, and junior Emily Peters rounded out the group coming in 79th shooting two birdies on the day. The team total was 350, while the tournament leader Elon finished day one with a score of 292. Round two of the FGCU Eagle Invitational will kick off on Saturday, Feb 14 at 8 a.m. The event will conclude with the final 18 holes on Sunday, Feb. 15.
