The Florida Atlantic University men's swim and dive team hosted Texas A&M on Saturday.
The Owls had one first place finish coming in the 400 free relay, which was made up of Cole Wisecarver, Konstantin Byshnev, John Brennock, and John Nolte. Matthieu Burtez gave Texas A&M all they wanted in the 500 free, but came up just short of a first place finish, placing second overall (4:45.26).
FAU had a strong showing in the 200 breaststroke taking second and third place overall. Junior Nicholas Landi got the second place finish with a final time of 2:11.61. Just behind Landi was senior Johannes Johnston who finished third (2:11.99).
Senior Ryan McIntire was FAU's only diver competing, and was able to bring home a first place finish in the three meter posting a score of 348.37, and finished second in the one meter (336.60). The Aggies won the meet with 137 total points to FAU's 87.
The men and women will both compete against Florida Tech on Friday, Nov. 13 at 3 p.m. in Melbourne, Fla.
