Beach Volleyball Releases 2016 Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. Florida Atlantic University Head Beach Volleyball Coach Capri Grotowski has announced the team's 2016 schedule.
The season will officially begin on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 when the Owls host North Florida, Georgia State and Webber International in a two-day tournament. The Owls will travel to Columbia, S.C. on Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19 to take part in a tournament hosted by the University of South Carolina.
FAU will host Tulane and UCLA on Wednesday, March 23. The Owls will participate in the Stetson Tournament in Deland on Friday, March 25 and Saturday March 26. On Wednesday, March 30, FAU will host Eckerd College at Deerfield Beach in the Owls' final home match of the season.
The Owls will begin the month of April with back-to-back tournaments, playing in the FIU tournament on April 1 and 2, followed by the Fiesta on Siesta Key on the eighth and ninth. Florida Gulf Coast will host FAU on the April 12 in the Owls' final dual match of the season.
The inaugural Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Beach Volleyball Championships will be held in Emerson, Ga., April 22-24. The NCAA Beach Volleyball Championships will be held in Gulf Shores, Ala.
