Softball Ready for Five Game Road Trip

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University softball team will play five road games this week, a doubleheader against FGCU on Wednesday and a weekend series versus Charlotte.

The Owls (24-19, 7-8 C-USA) lost two of three games to rival FIU over the weekend, the second straight conference series they have lost. Wednesday's doubleheader against the Eagles (22-19-1) will be the third and fourth times the two teams have played. FGCU won both of the first two meetings during the 2008 season.

This weekend, the Owls will face off against C-USA foe Charlotte in a three game series. It will begin with a doubleheader on Saturday, April 12th, starting at noon and 2 p.m. The Owls will also play Charlotte on April 13th at 12 p.m.
