Owls Facing Pivotal Final Regular Season Weekend

BOCA RATON, Fla. (April 30, 2014) - The Florida Atlantic University softball team play Middle Tennessee in a crucial series for determining seeding for the upcoming Conference USA Tournament.
The Owls (30-21, 12-9 C-USA) are currently the no. 6 seed for C-USA tournament, which they will host on May 8-10. While the team could end up as high as the no. 2 seed, it is also possible for them to miss the tournament field.
The Blue Raiders (8-42, 2-18) have lost 17 of their last 18, including being swept in a three-game series by Tulsa, which helped the Golden Hurricane clinch the regular season.
