Shaneese Bailey Named Conference USA Co-Player of the Week

IRVING, Texas - Florida Atlantic University guard Shaneese Bailey has been named the Conference USA Co-Player of the Week with her career-best performances over the weekend, as voted on by coaches and staff around the league.
Bailey, a native of Callahan, Fla., led the women's basketball team to a 1-1 record in the FAU Thanksgiving Tournament. In the first game against NJIT on Nov. 28, the sophomore set career-highs with 26 points and 17 rebounds. On Nov. 29, she lit up Northeastern for 21 points and did not commit a turnover in her 30 minutes on the court. She led all players in the four-team field in scoring and rebounding and also compiled a 3.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
