Women's Basketball Hosts Annual Thanksgiving Tournament

The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team hosts its annual FAU Thanksgiving Tournament this weekend with games on Friday, Nov. 28 and Saturday, Nov. 29 at FAU Arena, Boca Raton Campus.
The tournament kicks off as the Owls (3-1) host NJIT (2-3) at noon on Friday. This will mark the first meeting between the two programs. NDSU (1-2) will square off against Northeastern (2-1) will square off following the first game.
The first of two games on Saturday is slated for 4:30 p.m., followed by the final game at 7 p.m. Matchups for those contests will be determined by the outcomes of Friday's games.
FAU won the tournament last season with wins over Georgia Southern and Rhode Island.
The weekend features special deals for fans, including $1 tickets to the FAU/NJIT game on Friday. The first 100 fans will receive a hot dog for $1 as well. Fans who take their women's basketball ticket to the FAU vs. Old Dominion football game at noon on Saturday can get a free upgrade to the Hyundai Deck at FAU Stadium.
Fans can also get free admission to Saturday's basketball games with their FAU football ticket.
