The Owls are coming off of a 94-64 victory against Lynn University in its exhibition on Sunday, Nov. 9. Sophomore Shaneese Bailey posted a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds while freshman Malia Kency led the newcomers with 18 points and four 3-pointers.
UCF defeated St. Leo 81-44 in its exhibition, led by Zykira Lewis who scored 25 points. The Owls won last year's matchup against the Knights 82-69 in double-overtime and outscored UCF 15-3 in the final five minutes. Only 17 of FAU's 82 points were scored by players on this year's roster, led by Bailey's nine points.
Bethune-Cookman opens its schedule with a battle against Stetson on Friday before playing host to the Owls on Sunday. FAU also defeated the Wildcats last season, 81-65 in Boca Raton. Kat Wright scored eight points and tallied for rebounds in the game on Jan. 2.

FAU returns home to host Cleveland State and Western Illinois on Friday, Nov. 21 and Sunday, Nov. 23, respectively.
