Women's Soccer Hosts Final Home Weekend of 2014

Three seniors will take the pitch at the FAU Soccer Stadium on Sunday as the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team hosts its final two home matches of 2014. On Friday, Oct. 17, FAU hosts the top team in Conference USA in North Texas. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m. with the FAU men's team hosting South Carolina following the women's match. Sunday marks the battle of the Owls as Rice comes to Boca Raton. Seniors Olivia Mbala, Amanda Odato and Yazmin Ongtengco will be honored in a pregame ceremony just before the 1 p.m. match.
Last week: FAU fell to Middle Tennessee 1-0 on a rainy Friday in Murfreesboro, Tenn. before fighting to a 0-0 draw at UAB on Sunday.
History: The Owls are 0-8 all-time against North Texas and have never faced Rice in women's soccer.
