Baseball Team to Hold Walk-On Tryouts

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University baseball team will hold walk-on tryouts on September 23 at the "B" field, beside the Oxley Center.

Students interested in playing, for a team that captured a 2013 conference title and took the nation's No. 1 seed to 13 innings at the 2013 Chapel Hill Regional, must contact assistant coach Rich Billings (fau.rbillings@fau.edu) for further instructions.

The necessary paperwork must be filled out by 3 p.m., Friday, September 20 in order to participate in the tryout. A recent physical as well as a sickle cell test also is required.
