The Florida Atlantic sand volleyball team recently concluded its 2013 at the Fiesta at Siesta Key.
For the second season in a row, Alessia Pizzoccheri was part of the Owl tandem that advanced the furthest in the tournament, this time playing alongside Jelena Jovanovic. The twosome defeated a pair from Georgia State before falling to College of Charleston.
The Owls have finished their 2013 sand volleyball season.
