Murfreesboro, TN - The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team ended its Sun Belt Shootout with a 4-1 victory over DePaul University on Sunday, March 31. The team won four of the five singles matches.
The Owls evened the match after a straight-set win by sophomore Will Neuner on the second singles court. Freshman Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff gave FAU a 2-1 advantage with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 3 match.
Sophomore Robert Dubuque earned a straight-set victory 6-4, 6-2 over DePaul's Kyle Johnson at No. 4 singles. Sophomore Richard Meade secured the match with a three-set triumph on the fifth singles court. Meade won the second set by a 6-3 score before winning a tiebreaker 10-3.
FAU closes out the regular season with a road match at Bethune-Cookman University on Sunday, April 7.
