King Earns Start in Strikers' Second Game

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Darnell King made his first professional start in the Fort Lauderdale Strikers' April 14 draw with Minnesota Stars FC.

King was the first player off the bench in the season opener and earned the start on Saturday against the defending North American Soccer League Champions. The game ended at a 0-0 tie.

The Strikers are 1-0-1 and will travel for their first road match this Saturday, April 21. They will take on the San Antonio Scorpions at Heroes Stadium, with game time at 8:30 p.m. EST.
