Men's Tennis Concludes Play in ITA Southeast Regional

Tallahassee, FL - Senior Jose Fantova dropped a three-set consolation quarterfinal singles match on Sunday as the Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team wrapped up play in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southeast Regional at Florida State University. The Owls were participating in their third fall tournament.
Fantova fell to USF's Oliver Pramming 10-7 in a third-set tiebreaker. He forced the tiebreaker with a 6-4 win in the second set. Fantova went 2-2 in singles action while competing against some of the top players in the region and nation.
Earlier in the tournament, sophomores Will Neuner and Robert Dubuque teamed to advance to the round of 16. The duo lost to a team that has advanced to Monday's championship match.
FAU continues its fall season by competing in USA Futures Events on October 29 in Pensacola, November 5 at Niceville; and at Bradenton on November 12.
