Women's Tennis Concludes Action in ITA Regional

Tampa, FL - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team concluded its season-opening event, with players wrapping up performances in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southeast Regional at USF on Saturday.
The Owls suffered three setbacks in consolation singles action.
Sophomore Natalia Tomaszewicz dropped a hard-fought singles match to Stetson University's Andrea Crespo, losing by 7-5 and 6-4 scores. Fellow sophomore Catalina Ene also battled tough in a 6-2 and 7-5 setback to University of Florida's Olivia Janowicz by 6-2 and 7-5 scores.
Senior Natasha Basma lost to Florida State University's Leyla Erkan to round out singles action.
The Owls will begin their spring dual match season against the University of Miami on January 11, 2013 at Patch Reef Park, 1200 Yamato Road in Boca Raton.
