Gressley Named to NFCA All-Region Team

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic pitcher Rose Gressley was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association South Region Second Team on Thursday.
Gressley, who recently finished her playing career at FAU, ended the season with a 20-13 record and a 1.99 ERA. She was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team and made the Sun Belt All-Tournament team, after leading the Owls to the championship game for the second time in three years. Her 20 wins were a team high and the most since Jen Musillo's 26 in 2007.
The all-region teams were chosen by NFCA member coaches from each region, and all the honorees will now be eligible for selection to the Louisville Slugger/NFCA All-America first, second or third teams. The NFCA All-American team will be announced on June 1.
