Men's Golf Stands at Two Following Day One

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's men's golf team turned in a 295 team total, on the par 72 course LPGA Country Club, at the Bethune-Cookman University golf tournament in Daytona Beach, FL.

The Owls stand at second in the three-day tournament comprised of eight teams. Clint Wilhem and Kelly McHugh are tied for third after day on after the duo both shot one over 73. Michael Baskovich is tied for fifth and two over, while John Justin Thompson rounded out the team with a 75 and is tied for eighth. Casey Matthews shot four over.

FAU will return to the course along with host Bethune, Florida A&M, Savannah State, North Carolina Central, Maryland Eastern Shore, and Hampton.
