Dugan on Kansas Game and Tournament

"We did a lot of good things in the second half but it was a tough match up with their two strong post players," said Chancellor Dugan, FAU's head women's basketball coach. "We were more aggressive in the second half and the girls never quit."
The loss drops FAU to 3-4 on the season while Kansas remains undefeated with a 6-0 mark. The Owls return to the court on Saturday, December 10, beginning at 3 p.m. against Saint Louis University from the FAU Arena, 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus.

"Chenise is a hard working player who makes our team better," said Dugan on the transfer from Eastern Michigan University. "She missed an entire year and is getting the rust off with each game. Her best basketball is still ahead of her."

The host Jayhawks jumped out a 20-8 lead in the first eight minutes of the game. The lead would grow to 20 points, 28-8, at the 10-minute mark of the first half. The Owls then went on a 10-6 run over the next six minutes.
