Nightingale Makes History, But Owls Fall to Troy

TROY, AL - Florida Atlantic junior Cintia Nightingale recorded her 1,000 career dig on Friday night, but the Owls still lost to Troy in four sets (25-18, 22-25, 27-25, 25-15).
Nightingale ended the night with a match-high 18 digs, making her just the ninth player in school history to record 1,000 career digs. FAU (3-25, 0-10 Sun Belt) suffered miscues all night, committing 25 attack errors and 11 service errors.
Darija Sataric led the Owls' offense with 14 kills on the night, while Thacilli Pereira added nine of her own. Kayla Pickart was the only Trojan in double figures with 15 kills in the match. Troy improved its record to 16-13 overall and 6-9 in conference play.
FAU will wrap up its regular season on Sunday at South Alabama.
