MURFREESBORO, TN - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team battled Friday evening, but dropped a 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-23) decision to Middle Tennessee.
Darija Sataric led the Owls offensively in the loss with eight kills, while fell Georgia Robinson added seven of her own. Freshman Chandler Hatton had four kills and hit .333. The Blue Raiders' Ashley Adams led all players with a match-high 14 kills and Maria Szivos added eight.
As a team, FAU hit a .156 (29-15-90), while MTSU finished the match with 40 kills and a .219 hitting percentage. FAU (3-15, 0-6 SBC) will now head to Bowling Green, Ky., to take on Western Kentucky on Saturday. First serve is set for 3 p.m. eastern at E.A. Diddle Arena.
