Bodenmiller Named Sun Belt Player of the Week

BOCA RATON, FL - Senior shortstop Blair Bodenmiller was named Sun Belt Softball Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Bodenmiller hit went 7-for-10 in the Owls' three game sweep of Middle Tennessee over the weekend. She went 4-for-4 in FAU's 4-1 win on Sunday afternoon. Bodenmiller also stole two bases during the series and raised her season average from .290 to .321 with her performance.

It is FAU's first weekly award of the season and the second of Bodenmiller's career. The Owls will end the regular season with a home-and-home series against FIU this weekend.
