FAU and UCF Rained Out on Tuesday

ORLANDO, FL – The Florida Atlantic University baseball team’s game against UCF on Tuesday night was cancelled due to rain.
The Owls (31-19) held a 4-3 lead in the fourth inning when the game was called due to lightning in the area. After a few minutes of lightning and heavy winds, the skies opened up and it rained heavily for about 30 minutes.
The game was called at approximately 9:30 p.m. eastern after the umpires and head coaches decided the playing surface was unplayable.
The Owls will be back in action on Thursday when they conclude the regular season at home against FIU. First pitch in game one is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The game can be heard live on www.fausports.com.
