Team Frick Prevails in 2010 World Series

BOCA RATON, FL - For the second consecutive year, Team Frick has won the FAU Baseball World Series. After evening the sereis earlier in the week, Team Frick took game three on Friday 10-0 which sent the series into a sudden death playoff.
In the extra inning session, both teams started off in a bases loaded, one out situation with the opposing coaches on the mound as pitchers.
Team Sanderson scored four runs in the top half of their first sudden death inning setting the scene for a dramatic bottom half.
In Team Frick's half of the sudden death session, a walk with the bases loaded made the score 4-1 followed by a sac fly by Colby Gratton. The next batter, Alex Hudak, deposited a pitch over the right field batting cages for a walk-off three-run home run to clinch the World Series for Team Frick in dramatic fashion.
On the mound, Cody Barnes and Josh Gonzaga kept team Frick alive with eight shutout innings in game three to send it to the extra-inning session. Colby Gratton also hit a three-run home run to ignite Frick's offense.
The World Series victory for Team Frick is his second consecutive victory over Team Sanderson.
