Owls To Celebrate Start of Practice With Pep Rally

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic men's and women's basketball teams will celebrate the official start of practice with a "Midnight Madness" event on Thursday, October 11.

The event will be held in the FAU Arena, beginning at 8 p.m. Fans will have a chance to meet the 2010-11 men's and women's basketball teams, participate in contests, listen to live music and win prizes. Head men's basketball coach Mike Jarvis and head women's coach Chancellor Dugan will also on hand to join in the festivities.

The event is free and open to the public and the first 1000 students in attendance will receive free basketball jerseys.
