BOCA RATON, FL - Ashley Mannarino had two goals and an assist in the Florida Atlantic University women's soccer team's 3-0 win over Ball State on Sunday.
Mannarino put her first goal into the net late in the first half when she got behind the Ball State defense and beat the keeper into the left corner. She assisted on Breanna Lewis' goal in the 40th minute, when she fed Lewis a terrific pass and Lewis beat the keeper, once again to the left corner.
Mannarino struck once again in the 48th minute when she scored on a penalty kick to provide the final margin of victory. Ashley Lantes had five saves in goal for the Owls.
The Owls travel to Athens, GA to face Georgia as part of the Georgia Nike Invitational.
