BOCA RATON, FL - Virginia Augustin picked up a singles win in Florida Atlantic University's 6-1 loss to Southern Illinois, Monday.
SIU captured the doubles point with wins on court No. 1 and court No. 3. FAU dropped the doubles point despite an 8-5 win by Erika Mrazkova and Danielle Simone at no. 2 doubles.
SIU then picked up quick singles wins on each of the singles courts with the exception of court 4 where Agustin launched her 6-2, 5-7, 11-9 victory.
FAU will next play host to Richmond March 10 and James Madison March 11. Both games are scheduled for 1 p.m. at Patch Reef Park.
