BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University vs. Rutgers University baseball game scheduled for today at 6:30 p.m., at FAU Stadium 777 Glades Road, Boca Raton campus, has been cancelled due to rain. No make-up date has been announced at this time.
FAU (13-3) scored three ninth-inning runs to beat Rutgers (8-8) Tuesday night with a score of 12-11 in what was scheduled to be the opener of a two-game non-conference series at FAU Stadium this week.
The Owls now look ahead to a three-game Sun Belt Conference series at Middle Tennessee State University (13-3) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee beginning Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. ET.
