Land Cleared for FAU Innovation Village

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University's football program took another major step forward, Monday December 14 with the land clearing, in preparation for "Innovation Village".

It's not a victory of a storied football program or a national letter of intent from a prized recruit but, it is a monumental step towards the construction of an on-campus facility. A facility that Head Coach Howard Schnellenberger has waited for since establishing the program in March of 1999, signing it first class in February 2000 and playing it first game September 1, 2001 in a rented Land Shark Stadium.

Innovation Village, home of the FAU Football Stadium, will be located on the north side of campus on the corner of Lee Street and Palm Beach Avenue.
