BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to Arkansas State in straight sets (20-25, 18-25, 19-25) on Friday night.
The Owls (5-15, 3-8 Sun Belt) got out to an 18-15 lead in the first set, but ASU closed on a 15-2 run to take the set. The Red Wolves continued their hot streak in the second set, building a 10-point lead on their way to a 25-18 win.
ASU took an 11-5 lead in the third set, the Owls narrowed the margin on several occasions but could never fully close the gap and the Red Wolves won the set 25-19.
Georgia Robinson led the Owls with eight kills.
FAU wraps up its five-match homestand on Sunday at noon.
