Volleyball Hosts Miami on Saturday

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will host the University of Miami on Saturday, September 20 at 7 p.m. in the FAU Arena.
FAU (7-3) went 3-1 over the weekend at the Air Force Invitational. The Owls defeated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, North Carolina Central University, as well as host Air Force. They lost to Kent State University in five sets in the final match of the tournament.
FAU players Krystena Castro and Katie Arvidson also were named to the All-Tournament team for their performance over the weekend.
The Miami Hurricanes (10-0) won all three tournaments they have taken part in this season. They are led by outside hitter Genny Mayhew, who averages 3.26 kills a set. Miami leads the all-time series 5-1, although Saturday will be the first meeting since 2004.
The first 50 fans in attendance at Saturday's match will receive FAU car flags. Live stats will be available via GameTracker, and webstreaming of the match will be available at fausports.com.
