BOCA RATON, FL - Krystena Castro had a match-high 14 kills as the Florida Atlantic University volleyball team swept all three sets (25-17, 25-12, 25-16) of the Alumni Match. Morgan Johns added seven kills for the Owls.
The match marked the end of the preseason training schedule and the Owls will now begin preparation for the regular season. Iana Andonova had eight kills to lead the Alumni squad.
FAU begins start the regular season on Friday, August 29 when they face Bethune-Cookman at 7 p.m. as part of the FAU Invitational. Live stats for all matches will be available via GameTracker and live video for all of FAU's matches will be webstreamed at fausports.com.
