Fourth Annual Golf Tournament a Success

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University recently held its fourth annual golf tournament, raising more than $100,000. The event, which took place for the second year in a row at Trump International Golf Course, saw 39 foursomes take to the course. FAU Trustee Armand Grossman '67,'70, '77 and FAU Foundation Board member Michael Kaufman competed.
The money raised by the golf and auction event equates to nearly 10 scholarships for FAU student athletes. These dollars are very important as FAU grows a program for more than 450 student-athletes and works to compete at the highest level.
Attendees were treated to a newly-expanded 27-hole premium golf course ranked among the Top-100 courses in the country by both GOLF magazine and Golf Digest. The prestigious GOLF magazine rates it "the best golf course in Florida."
