Women's Tennis Drops Match to Boston College

The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis dropped a 5-2 decision to Boston College on Tuesday afternoon in Boca Raton, FL. FAU's Claudia Kecht and Virginia Augustin won their singles matches to put the Owls on the board.
Kecht won a three-set match against BC's Dasha Cherkasov. After dropping the first set 6-2 she rebounded to win the final two 7-6 (7-5) and (10-5) at the no. 2 spot. Playing in the no. 6 spot, Augustin defeated Alison Wagner 6-3, 6-1.
FAU returns to play on Wednesday afternoon against East Tennessee State University at Patch Reef Park at 1 p.m.
