Women's Tennis Overpowers Towson

With a 7-0 win over Towson University on Thursday afternoon, the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team improved to 2-11 on the year and is 2-1 in its last three matches. Natalia Totevska picked up a singles and a doubles win while only allowing her opponents to win one set on the day.
In doubles play Totevska teamed with Claudia Kecht to defeat Evelyn Izaguirre and Katie Young 8-1 before Totevska returned to blank Izaguirre in singles play 6-0, 6-0.
The Owls won every singles match in two sets and will build on the momentum in its next two matches in three days. The team hosts Columbia University on Friday at 1 p.m. and Dartmouth on Sunday at 10 a.m.
