Men's Tennis Falls in Battle of Ranked SBC Teams

In a battle of two ranked Sun Belt Conference teams, no. 52 Florida Atlantic University's men's tennis team fell to no. 44 University of Denver 4-3 on Wednesday afternoon in Boca Raton. The Owls won three singles matches and one doubles match but could not pull out the decisive match to overtake the Pioneers.
Eddie Majcher and Marc Abdelnour earned singles victories in two sets, while Corey Smith used three sets to defeat DU's David Simson.
In doubles play, Lawrence Harradine and Joe Cadogan won at the no. 3 spot, 8-4, over Niklas Persson and Benny Althaus.
