The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team dropped a match on Tuesday to conference opponent North Texas 7-0 in Boca Raton. Playing her first match of the season at the no. 4 spot, Virginia Augustin played tough against UNT's Narine Kazarova but fell 6-4, 6-4.
Natalia Totevska took Olga Catalina Cruz Gomez to three sets in the no. 1 spot but dropped the match 6-2, 2-6, 1-0 (8).
The Owls will play again on Thursday against Towson before hosting Columbia and Dartmouth later this week.
