Day at Royal Palm Polo

BOCA RATON, FL - Florida Atlantic University faculty, staff, students, fans and alumni are invited to attend FAU Day at Royal Palm Polo. The event will take place on Sunday, February 17 beginning at 2 p.m. at the Royal Palm Polo Sports Club, 18000 Jog Road, Boca Raton.
The pre-match event will celebrate FAU's student-athlete successes and provide an opportunity for all to enjoy the unique opportunity of High Goal Polo. The match's halftime show will feature the recognition of two FAU conference championship teams. FAU men's soccer was the first to bring home a championship for 2007 by capturing the Atlantic Soccer Conference. Next, the Owls football team followed with a Sun Belt Conference championship title and New Orleans Bowl crown.
The festivities will be held at the Balistreri Realty hospitality tent, located on the east side of the Polo Field near the center. The tailgate is free, and food and beverages will be available while supplies last. Guests also are allowed to bring coolers, food, tents and lawn chairs, but grills are not permitted.
Entry to the event is free to all FAU students with a student I.D. Cost for non-students is a discounted rate of $6. Please mention that you are an FAU fan to receive the discount. Fans also are encouraged to wear FAU apparel. The event is sponsored by Royal Palm Polo, Sommerkamp Insurance & Financial Services, Bloomingdales, Davidson Hurricane protection, Balistreri Realty and Pepsi.
