Volleyball Prepares for Final Regular Season Match

BOCA RATON, FL - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team will finish its regular season against rival FIU in Miami on Saturday, November 15 at 7 p.m.

The Owls (12-16, 5-11 Sun Belt Conference) lost to Western Kentucky University and Middle Tennessee State University over the weekend. This Saturday's match holds even more meaning for both squads beyond the traditional meeting with a rival. For the FIU Golden Panthers, a win clinches the regular season title and the No.1 seed in the SBC tournament, which they will host. For FAU, a win gives them the No. 8 seed in the conference tournament and a rematch with the Golden Panthers in the first round of the tournament.

The two teams met earlier this season and FIU swept the Owls in Boca Raton, behind 16 kills from Andrea Lakovic. Live stats will be available through the schedule page on www.fausports.com.
