Owls Fall to Hilltoppers in Three

BOWLING GREEN, KY - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball team lost to Western Kentucky in three sets (23-25, 15-25, 16-25) on Friday night.
The Owls (9-5, 2-1 Sun Belt) built a lead as big as seven points in the first set, but WKU (13-3, 2-0) rallied to tie the match at 23 on their way to a 25-23 win. In the second set, WKU took the lead early and pulled away from the Owls eventually winning the set 25-15. FAU was unable to slow the Hilltoppers momentum in the third set and WKU took the set 25-16 to clinch the set.
FAU will return to the court on Saturday night when they face Middle Tennessee at 8 p.m. Live stats will be available at fausports.com.
