Women's Tennis Faces Cross-Town Opponent

The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team will face Lynn University this Friday, 2 p.m. at Lynn. Elodie Wendling enters the match in the No. 1 spot for FAU followed by Natalia Totevska, Danielle Simone, Pia Terol, Virginia Augustin and Hannah Findlay.

After making its 10th NCAA semifinal appearance in 11 years, the Fighting Knights enter the season ranked fourth at the NCAA Division II level. Four players are ranked in the top-20 in singles and the no. 1 doubles team is ranked third in the nation.

The match is the first of the season for the Fighting Knights, while the Owls enter the contest with a 0-3 record. Two of the team's losses were to ranked opponents.
