The Florida Atlantic University track team participated at the Golden Knight Twilight Meet in Orlando over the weekend.
The meet was the final one for the Owls before the Sun Belt Conference Championships held on May 11-13 in Lafayette, LA.
Yanique Booth won the 100-meter hurdles for the Owls' only event win on the day. Kerry-Ann Stewart was arguably the best all-around sprinter at the meet, finishing fourth in both the 100 and 200-meter dashes and adding a sixth-place finish in the 400 meters. The 800 meters was the best event for the Owls as a team, with Friederike Feil, Toni Jackson and Patricia Gumbs all setting personal records while finishing second, ninth and tenth, respectively.
Overall, the team registered 16 top-10 finishes and eight personal records at the meet.
FAU will take next weekend off before traveling to Lafayette, LA for the Sun Belt Conference Championships on May 11-13.
