BOCA RATON, FL - Pia Terol captured her singles match just as prior to Monday's rain storm to clinch the match for Florida Atlantic University's women's tennis team. The victory improves the Owls to 2-3 overall.
FAU swept the doubles allowing just three total Siena points. FAU then quickly moved into singles play in an effort to complete the match. Danielle Simone was the first to emerge victorious from the court with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at no. 6. Natalia Totevska followed at no. 5 with a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Terol followed with a 6-1, 6-0 victory and the match's fourth and deciding point.
