DAYTONA BEACH, FL - Following a long hard-fought match on Saturday in Deland, the Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team played its second-consecutive match in as many days and walked away with a 7-0 victory over Bethune-Cookman College, on Sunday.
"I thought we came out a little mentally tired after our grueling Saturday battle at Stetson," said FAU head coach David Komie. "But, when push came to shove we got the job done. Olivier injured his thumb early in his singles match but toughed out a win to improve to 14-4 on the year."
The match was the seventh on the road since January and was just the third dual match since January that was not against a ranked opponent.
